How to Operate the Magnificent Lighting App

Controller under Device

When you first open the app, it should show our controller right away below where it says Device. If it doesn’t show up, that means you may need to manually connect to the controller by clicking on the + sign at the top right.

Connect with Wi-Fi

After clicking the + icon, please click on the Wi-Fi button. The controller icon should pop up as seen below and you can click that. Once the Connect icon lights up blue, click on it.

Brightness and colour

From the main app page, you can adjust the brightness of the lights and select any common colour of your choice.

If the start button at the top right is black or grey, that means the lights are off. If the icon is blue, that means the lights are on.

Select a pattern

You can select different colour patterns by clicking on each pattern mode.

Turn the pattern on

Once you select the pattern, click the icon as shown below. It will automatically turn on that pattern.

How to set up a timer

Before creating a timer, pick a pattern first. Write down the name of the folder it is located in and the pattern name.

Click on the timer icon at the bottom.

Create a new timer

Click the + icon as seen above to create a new timer.

Name, pattern, days, and time

Type in your timer’s name.

Select the pattern of your choice.

Select which days you want the timer on.

Select the time you want the timer to turn on and off. Once you have selected everything, click Save at the top right.

Click Save.

Confirm the timer, then return

Click the button to ensure the timer is selected.

Click back to the colour button.

Turn the lights off for the timer

Once you’re back at the main screen, turn the On button off. Once the blue goes away, that means it’s off and the timer will turn on and off by itself.

Click this off.
